Hi all,
I took a stroll down to my local PC World yesterday, armed with a printout of the tech specs for ipiSoft. (I'm going to be trying out a 3xPlaystation Eye camera set-up, rather that the 1xKinect setup)
I'm primarily a Mac user, so I don't have a PC laptop - only a MacBook Pro laptop.
Now the guys there told me that I would be able to run ipiSoft using 'Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac'
http://store.apple.com/us/product/H7001LL/A/parallels-desktop-7-for-mac?fnode=MTY1NDA1or even try out Apple's 'Bootcamp'
http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/Has anyone out there tried this out? I'm wondering if this would work ok, as the MacPro laptop I have possibly looks like it could handle the Basic Edition of ipiSoft.
Am I kidding myself into thinking I've found a work-around?....any help/warnings on this would be much appreciated. Last thing I want to do is have to buy a PC laptop purely to run one piece of software.
