When you use iPi Recorder with the Kinects, How do you split the RGB feed from the depth information that is overlayed. Is there any way to do this?

The two are recorded together but can be viewed separately in either Recorder or Studio.

To do this in Recorder just hover the cursor over a viewport; a menu will popup that allows you select how you want to view the data (depth or video or both, plus many other options.)

In Studio you can select different preview options from the View menu or the buttons on the tool bar. You can even control the opacity of each mode. for example, have video display at 50% for a ghosted effect, or havae the skin ghosted so you can see the bones through the skin. It's very flexible once you understand how these options work together.

Another option in Studio is to click on the thumbnail preview in the corner--this enlarges the PIP style preview. You may then hide the RGB video in the main viewport by toggling the Video button off or by dialing down the opacity to zero using the slider. This allows you to work without the clutter of the video data in the main view and still be able to reference it in the enlarged thumbnail. If you want to hide the video thumbnail entirely, go to View and disable Video Thumbnails.

Hope this helps.

I was talking more in the sense that I want to be able to make a file in like an mp4 format or .avi format that just has the video with out the depth information. Is there any way to split it?
