Hi there, first post.
I will shortly be purchasing a standard license for iPi Soft Mocap Studio for use with an 8 PS3 Eye + Motion Controllers setup.
Based on my reading of the docs, wiki, etc I have come up with the following layout to suit the space I have and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on whether or not this is useful layout or if I have completely misinterpreted the information I have been reading.

Lights have been positioned so as to hopefully reduce both floor and wall shadows as much as possible. The apparently odd arrangement of the high cameras is to avoid beams on the ceiling.
For recording I will be using a 2009 Mac Pro (2 x 2.66GHz Quad-Core Xeon, 12 GB RAM) with 2 additional USB 3 cards for a total of 4 USB 2.0 capable controllers in system. Motion controllers will be Playstation Move's which I have already successfully paired via bluetooth under Windows 7 using the Mac's built in Bluetooth module. All up I would likely be using a max of 6 Moves at one time.
Recording will be done initially to a 6GB RAM Disk. Out of curiosity do you think compressed recording would be possible with this amount of CPU power?
Processing of the recorded footage will be done on a PC (i7-3820, 16GB RAM, Radeon HD7950 3GB).
So is this workable?
