Best buy has a new product that is really cool for anyone using Kinect setup. It includes a mini tripod, tripod adapter (works with any photo tripod) and 9ft ext cable (kind with proprietary Kinect port that plugs in after the Y splitter). The best part is it's only $20 on sale right now, which is cheaper than a tripod adapter alone.

AWESOMENESS!! I just picked up two from my local Best Buy and I can now reach my garage from my main computer in the living room! Lots more space in there and it's not carpeting, so it should help me more with foot slide! I have to chain a repeater cable and the kinect extension but I can get a 90 degree coverage in there now and leave them setup! That actually was a "best buy" at Best Buy for once. ;P Will try to shot some tests tonight. I've been chomping to test out the new version.
