This is exactly what I get on my new Samsung quad core laptop. It runs fine on my wife's older Toshiba Laptop running Windows 7.

I had the exact same problem with my old HP laptop running Vista. I blamed Vista, but it's obviously something else.

Having just checked my wife's machine, it's 32 bit whereas both mine are 64 bit. It was a 64 AMD processor running Windows 32. New one is 64 bit AMD quad running Windows 64. Seems too much of a coincidence to me.

Just a thought but could this be possibly be an AMD issue? All of my computers are 64-bit systems but Intel rather than AMD, and iPi DMC runs fine on them. That said, I would think AMD should be fine for running iPi DMC too.

Hopefully an iPi tech will pop in to confirm either way.

BTW, iPi DMC did run fine on one of my older x64 machines which was running with Vista Pro, so that shouldn't be an issue. (All my current machines run on Win 7.)

Further investigating reveals that my wife's laptop is Intel, so it does look like an AMD problem. Trouble is my self built mega beast PC is also running AMD, so I doubt it'll work on that either. :(

chester1997, Nod64, if you're still here, you can try to use the latest iPiRecorder with Microsoft Kinect for Windows SDK: http://forum.ipisoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5849

It can help

Nope. Still doesn't work. :(

I reinstalled everything as well.

I will say that it's not as bad as it was. It works for about 3 seconds, messes up, then works for another 3 seconds.
