Hi, just a thought,
Now that the ipi forum is getting more and more busy, wouldn't it be a good idea to start new boards for specific software; ie, Lightwave users, Maya, etc etc. it would stop a lot of trawling around for specific software tips/advice.

That's a good idea. It would be convenient for many users to have a common place for them to look for and share third-party specific info.

For example, I use iPi DMC with Lightwave 3D 10.1, and there are certain quirks specific to Lightwave that users need to be aware of in order to make this work successfully. Even with the help of artists with far more mocap experience than I had, it took a long time and a lot of trial-and-error to establish an efficient iPi-to-Lightwave workflow.

Until then, I guess there's the Community Tutorials section. I'll post my own iPi-to-Lightwave workflow there and at my website when I have a little time to spare.
