Ok so I've trialed and errored this enough, with no luck to speak of.
I have 2 Kinects, and want to get calibration right.
So I record video, and move the plane around (the 30-90 degree configuration). I get confused in loading video into the studio program. I have a marker, on the floor, directly in the middle where the wall meets the floor, behind me. With the studio grid, I line up the centre line of the grid with that marker, using the orbit and move tools under the scene tab. I do that with both cameras. Is this the right thing to do?
So when I go View>Show depth from all sensors, the sensor renderings of me dont quite match up..
What exactly is required here to get a clean calibration? Whe reviewing the resultant calibration, after processing, the dots flash in not quite the same positions..WHats a reasonable margin of error in reviewing the resultant calibration after processing? The User guide at
http://wiki.ipisoft.com/User_Guide_for_ ... figuration Doesn't say what is good and usable and what isnt, it just says to review it.. My dots are mostly green, occasionally red and yellow, but the dots never exactly match position...
Is this a good calibration to move forward from? Please see attached pic. Thanks

PS being able to upload images directly to the forum would be a lot less hassle for forum users.
