I think the new recorder is neat and useful. however with V1 I could decide not to record the RGB video when using the kinects. It does not seem to work with V2 recorder. On screen I try only showing the sensor image without the rgb image, however when I record the scene the rgb is recorded too. With the rgb it makes the file so big.

When I have converted from the V1 file without the rgb recorded, initially the file was massive until converted in v2 recorder and then the file became very small.

Am I missing something when recording in v2? should I be turning the rgb 'off' like in v1, if so - were is the control switch?

Can someone put me on the correct track. Many thanks.

Turning off RGB recording is made via selecting depth-only video mode on the Setup stage. Changing screen layout in screen controls affects only displayed data, not recorded.
Please note that video modes list on screenshot is for ASUS Xtion, but list for Kinect is similar (it also contains depth+color and depth modes).
