Hi

This little problem is very irritating, its been intermittent, but now after trying different set-ups and kinects its certainly seems a software issue:

When I have 2 kinects plugged in, they (sometimes) seem to get mixed up. For example; The elevation angle control in properties for camera 1 controls the elevation angle of camera 2 and vice versa.

Now that the the camera properties screen fills the entire screen (although the only control you have with kinects is the elevation) you cannot see what camera 2 is seeing until you flip back to set-up; its all so time consuming to keep having to flip to the properties of one camera to adjust the elevation of the other camera.

I have the 2 kinects connected by un-powered usb extension cables, could this have something to do with it? I say this as it was all working ok this morning camera 1 was camera 1 in properties etc. I then moved one of the cameras (camera 1) added a usb extension, restarted machine, and now the camera properties are elevating the opposite cameras. Weird but true.

Please can you have a look at this, I have had this problem a few times in the past. Cant we just have the kinect elevation control in the dual camera view window, it would save a lot of time.

Thanks
Rob

We could not reproduce this issue.
Do you experience it with both Kinect for XBOX and Kinect for Windows (you've mentioned that you tried different Kinects)?
What drivers do you use: Kinect SDK or PrimeSense?
