I downloaded your program I PI studio And it said tha you get a 30 day trial
Not had it for about 6 days and I have yet to be able to complete 1 calibration. without this program crashing every single time useing 4 sony cameras. now before you even go there, I have 9 computers 6 of them are running quads in 2 of them are running 6 core. So trust me it ain't the computer.

So if I downloaded another copy will I get my 30 days?
I also noticed that a lot of people who are using this product version 2 they all crash.
And from reading some of the articles a suggestion with Made to revert back to 1.2.
Now here's my problem with that, I can't run 1.2 because I am running Windows 8 and 1.2 will not work on Windows 8 I tried and tried on many different computers.
i would love for it to work , because it is what i was looking for ,
So why is this software crashing how can you be interested in buying something that's not even going to work on the trial?
Just wondering thank you

Hi
Can you provide some screenshots how the software crashes?
At what moment does it crash, what are you doing within the software when this happens?
30 days trial period is eligible for a single time on a single PC. If you install the software on another PC, you get a new trial period.

I don't believe the software has ever been compatible with NT--you need XP at the very least. The very latest version may even require Windows 7 but I'm not completely sure about that.

You didn't mention the graphics card you use. That could also make a big difference in performance.

This might not be especially helpful but we've been running iPi DMC 2.0 flawlessly (never crashes anyway,) ever since release but under Windows 7 Pro. The computer we run 2.0 on is a quad core Intel with Nvidia Geforce GTX 460.

I haven't tried running it under Win 8 though. Hopefully another Win 8 user will share their experience.

Good luck and hope you can get it working soon.

G.

This is how Windows 8 reports its version using system calls.

2 neelwell2:
I have not noticed at once that its Win8. We have not done thorough tests of our software on Windows 8. Now it seems to be a good time to start with that. Looks like this bug is some compatibility issue with Win8.
Meanwhile, I recommend you to run our software on Windows 7 if you have such opportunity.

After some investigation it does not seem that this issue is linked with OS version.
Can you provide us with the sample video and project files on which you the software crashes?

We could not reproduce this issue. However, v2.2.0.144 contains a fix in calibration implementation that may affect this issue. Please check the new version.
