I just finished up an animation in 3ds Max using my first attempt at motion capture with 2 kinect cameras. I'd say there are definitely pros and cons to motion capture, one main con being that you are limited to what your actor can do (yes, that is me trying to dance). Also, I had to do what seemed to be quite a lot of clean up to the animations once in 3ds Max. Hopefully, as I get more experienced with it, that should be too much of a problem. Also, the hands... the majority of time I just left them spread open... Since a key is on every framed (when imported) it became too tedious to make a change. I tried reducing key frames on import but reducing it too muck it tends to start losing the motion. Anyways, here it is. Let me know what you think.
