They haven't released it yet arctron, but rest-assured when they do be sure to check out the Truebones YouTube channel.

https://www.youtube.com/user/truebones/videos

That is by far the best way to learn Ipi tips and techniques!

It is not desirable but I have achieved it with 2 actors.
These are my results after clean up, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oacgrOWmy4

If you check out my channel there is a video that goes into actor clothing. If you take those principles and and apply them to both actors and make sure they are both wearing contrasting colours then it is possible.

This video shows what i dressed my actos in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgpM9Jwgh_A

I hope this helps, feel free to message me if you need any help.

we recorded 2 actors as well for our last project. what i did was creating a sample file which is just a few frames long with the actors in the t-pose. in that file i adjusted the colors/sizes of the actors and saved them as a .actor file. then, when you record your action-shootings, there is no need to waste some extra time and disc-space for the t-pose anymore. just start the recording before the action starts.

you have to track one actor after the other, and make sure that they differ (color-wise) as much as possible. if its possible, try to avoid overlaping motions of the actors. i'd guess that the circle-camera setup works best for that.

@Manymotion: awesome results! what software/workflow did you use for the facial-mocap?

cheers

I used Faceshift with blendshapes though I am working on a workflow to apply the blendshapes to a game ready bone driven rig

i guess thats why you placed the markers? for tracking in a different software package? or do you get any advantages of placing the markers in faceshift?

thanks for the info, keep it up!
