For initial pairing you need to connect it to the computer via USB cable (the cable can also be used to charge the device.) You should have Recorder up and running of course. When you click Add New, the wizard should launch to walk you through the pairing process. When the Wizard asks you to press the PS button, you will need to do this repeatedly until the pairing process is complete. 'Repeatedly' means each time the light goes off or on--sorry, I can't remember which it is but it should be obvious once it starts.

Normally, you will only need to do this once. Once paired, you can power the controller on without re-pairing it by pressing the PS button, and off by pressing and holding the PS button for about 10 seconds.

Also, you will no longer need to connect the controller to your computer using the USB cable except when you need to recharge the battery. Naturally, the controller should be fully charged before you start any of this.

Details are explained on this Wiki page: http://wiki.ipisoft.com/Getting_started ... ontrollers

Pay particular attention to the section called Getting Into Recorder.

baby3w,

I can only speak from my experience, but this worked for me (and my 4 PS Move controllers):

- purchased a Rocketfish Micro Bluetooth adapter (@ bestbuy, model RF-MRBTAD)
- connected adapter to USB on computer
- installed drivers from the Rocketfish included CD
- installed Motion in Joy drivers (v. 0.7.1001 from this page http://wiki.ipisoft.com/Motion_in_Joy_Installation
- followed instructions from link Greenlaw gave here: http://wiki.ipisoft.com/Getting_started_with_motion_controllers

(I should add that my system is Win7 64-bit, and a relatively clean SSD drive specifically dedicated for iPi Recorder,
so not a lot of extra software or drivers on the HD)

I kept each controller on after disconnecting the successfully recognized Move controller from the 1 USB cable I have
for the PS Move controllers. Repeated the steps for 4 times and all were recognized.

Hope it's of some assistance to you and you get your controllers working! :)

Here is a live video of pairing procedure for PS Move in iPi Recorder on Windows 7:

Pay special attention to how many times I press the PS button during the procedure - it's not just once, but about 7 times.
