Hi iPisoft team,

Is there a way to convert iPivideos captured with iPirecorder 2 to avi, mpeg or whatever format readable in other app?
I'm actually capturing facial mocap with 2 cameras mounted on a helmet in ipiRecorder Version 1, it works really well but I'd like to use the 720p recording we can get in iPirecorder 2 for a better image definition to track content.

We plan to add the video export capability to iPi Recorder in the future. No specific dates yet.

Open the video with Ipi Studio, hide the "skin", "depth", "bones", "ground plane" and "align color video to depth", click on "camera #"(if needed), go to "file>>export video", it will render a clean avi video of your scene, you can also render only the region of interest.

I think the export capability that vmaslov referred to was to output the video with all the camera views combined, and the other post refers to just exporting the view from one camera. Version 1 of the software recorded the video in a format that could be edited in VirtualDub. It looked pretty cool with all 6 cameras showing at the same time. I'm not sure which type of video you want exported.

I was looking for exporting "1 by 1 video" or even 2 videos in 1 video. Since the time I opened that topic I've finally went to a dual pseye system with (unfortunately) small resolution recording from ipirecorder 1. The result video (not raw) can be used in a lot of editing softwares.
Being able to record at a higher resolution would minimize the waste of time in the keyframes cleaning process.
But in the end Pseyes are the best, no frame dropped and that's another important point. So I'll just be quiet and work hard in my curves editor until a new solution is found.

Here are some results from my last tests using 2 logitech webcams:

It's only related to iPirecorder, not iPisoft this time :)

Can we export all 4 cameras to AVI format? I would like one single combined video.

No, currently. You can export individual AVIs for needed cameras and combine them in some video editing program.
