IPI mocap studio uses the integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics card instead of the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M. The processing time of each frame is about 7.5 seconds per frame and NVIDIA Activity Monitor shows zero activity.

When I disable the integrated card through the device manager, mocap studio says that to work need a card that supports Shader fourth version and simply does not start.
And there is no option in the BIOS to switch between graphics cards.

How to make mocap studio use my better graphics card instead of the integrated video card?

I have tried to solve this problem on every. In various forums people write that using two graphics cards in laptops, discrete graphics card runs automatically if you run any 3D application. In window applications or when the notebook is running on battery power, it runs the integrated card.

Once I used the one application that also employed computing capabilities of the graphic card (ReconstructMe), there was a choice of the preferred video directly in the program settings. Is it possible to do something for the ipi mocap studio?

There should be a way to set the usage of NVIDIA adapter for specific applications in NVIDIA settings widget.
You will need to get the path to the executable file of iPi Mocap Studio. It's a bit tricky with ClickOnce apps, because the path is under user profile folder with some random names. You can easily locate the executable using the Task Manager. Run iPi Mocap Studio, open the Task Manager, locate iPiMocapStudio.exe in processes, right-click and select "Properties" or "Open File Location".

I feel ashamed.
the problem was solved much easier:
Nvidia control panel-> Manage 3D Settings -> Programm Settings-> Add-> Recently used-> select: iPi MocapStudio -> Select the preferred graphics processor for this progam: High-perfomance NVIDIA processor-> apply
