Is the new PS4 cameras any good?

Hi there! With a quick look around I don`t see any threads about the new PS4 cameras. I have one question and one question only - are they better for motion capture than the currently recommended PS3 Eye cameras?

Hi

PS4 camera has the custom connector (not USB) which does not allow to connect the camera to PC. Looks like Sony specifically wanted to prohibit the use of its new camera with PC. The main differences of the new camera are two optical sensors (stereo image) and increased resolution. Both these features do not give any advantages for use with our software, so there is no reason to suffer.

We know about these efforts. However, currently they require some manual cable "hacking" and do not support Windows.

Is the new PS4 cameras any good?
