I'm having this problem for quite a time, I pluged the USB to a USB3.0 and pluged the AC/DC adapter to the eletric plug, IPi recognises the Kinect but says it doesnt have the adaptor pluged. Tried to search people with the same problem but I cant find anything. Can anybody help me out?

Hi
Try first plug the power, then connect to USB.
Test all available USB ports.
