I have a Windows Kinect and a XBOX Kinect in one setup. When recording with both Kinects I get the yellow noise in the background which is gone when I record with only one Kinect (Windows or XBOX does not matter). Is this an interference issue? Also one Kinect has a much brighter RGB picture.

Yes, the amount of yellow increases when using multiple Kinects because of mutual interference. It's important to minimize this effect, trying slight variations in cameras position.
Difference in RGB picture between Kinect models is known. Maybe, Kinect for Windows has different CMOS sensor, or just some firmware tweaks. However, as RGB picture is not used for tracking, this difference does not matter much. If you want closer RGB pictures from both sensors, you can adjust the setting for color sensor in Kinect for Windows. Use the "PROPERTIES" button in the Kinect's screen menu on the Setup stage.

If you can, I recommend getting a second Kinect for Windows. In general, the quality of the RGB with K4W is much better (especially under low light) and it's adjustable from within iPi Recorder. While the RGB video isn't used for tracking, I find the data is helpful as visual reference.

Then again, being so close to the release of the new Kinect for Windows and iPi Mocap Studio 3, it's probably better to sit tight and wait. :)
