Hello
First, I should say your capture area is too small for PS Eye cameras.
Second, half-circle setup inevitably produces tracking errors on full turns, because at certain moments no camera sees some limb.
I think you're getting troubles when entering your actual height is because you have not scaled the results of calibration properly. So, distances in the scene world differ from the real world.
I recommend you to find a proper large empty space for doing mocap with PS Eyes.
And try 6 cameras in full circle. Even with expired trial you can do everything but the animation export. If you wish, we could do several exports for you to test the whole pipeline.
Regarding clothing. Solid colors are a must. To get more reliable tracking, it's better to have different colors for: legs, arms, torso. That's why short sleeves over long sleeves is a good choice.
Tracking errors may occur occasionally even under good conditions. But when data is good, the errors can be cleaned up easily.
