Hi

Seems like the target audience for ipi soft changed to bigger companies?
If an (expensive!!) subscription based payment is the only option, i will definitely stay with v2. I would suggest to offer subscription based payment and the option to buy it, maybe with updates for 1 year ?

I haven't bother to read this any of this thread.

I have an older version of IPI. I was going to buy again to upgrade my version.

I follow this rule with subscription software. I look for replacements. Or I use for only the time I need it.

IPI you lost money. I was going to pay the 1200 for the full version. 600 for 3 months? IPI go F yourselves,

I was thinking about upgrading to 3, but now that I fully understand the "subscription" model, forget it.

I think the fact that iPi has ignored this thread and it's customer concerns, tells you all you need to know about the company

next year a few crowdfunded mocap solution are due to hit the market which look really interesting.

This is really sneaky on customers. I have not even used Ipi mo cap live once! I spent all that money - alot of money, got all the cameras and software. I have been busy doing other things with my life.

You offered the package and the key for x AMOUNT. Now It wont even turn up on my new install.

This has been almost a total waste of time and energy can you please give us the product you offered.

At least reimburse people something

Tell me about it.
Have 6 Eye cameras, 2 Kinects, cables and more.
Least I can still use my USB Repeater cables and Kinect power cords

WTS 6 Eye's & 2 Kinects! Cheap!

Just because I felt like adding a "me too", i've had some fun with my Standard edition, I wouldn't say that i've got as much use out of it as intended, largely because i've kept waiting for "more accurate tracking" and other fixes and to a point they have come.

I've got 6 PS Eye's, hardly used due to the set up time and space required. 2 x Kinects but yes I do have an xbox to use one with (they're not *that* expensive afterall)

I got shafted during the last upgrade on pricing already and won't be going further with iPi Mocap Studio.

An upgrade that I pay once for I can tolerate but i'm not getting enough use to warrant the money on a subscription basis.

Now eagerly waiting for 2 x PrioVR suits to arrive some time in 2015 (which were ordered a long time ago anyway so is not a knee jerk reaction). I'd possibly have upgraded iPi Studio too but from a business perspective guys, you've lost me too.

I've had another good look at the neuron perception mocap system and I'm starting to adapt to the idea of an inertial
mocap suit rather than a multi-camera mocap system. The quality looks pretty good and the drift on the positional data
looks acceptable if you don't to really long captures.

I really liked the ipi mocap system and thought it delivered good motion data out of the box, especially with the kinect.
Adding more cameras, like any optical system also gives it potential for further development.

But for the same price as a year's ipi license I can get three mocap suits, allowing me to do real-time capture for three
characters. Renting mocap software for "internal projects", which I think covers a lot of ipi users, just doesn't financially
add up for me. At that price I would have to have external customers looking for mocap services on a regular basis, which
isn't really my goal.

I hope ipi will reconsider a solution that allows me to capture and use the software at my own pace. The neuron system
is out mid-february, so that still gives me a couple of months to consider the pros and cons.
