I had to get a physically smaller version of the GTX 970 to fit in my box, which is a smaller profile workstation. What I have also uses less power than a full-size card.

I think the model I have is this: https://www.amazon.com/Asus-GTX970-DCMO ... DCMOC-4GD5

My 'mini' card is a couple of years old though. I imagine you can find a better/cheaper model now if you search for it.

That's odd. Could there be on-board graphics that might be overriding, like Intel Graphics? But then again, if this card is currently driving your monitor, then it's probably the 'primary'.

Maybe you have conflicting drivers? Had you removed the older drivers before installing this card? You might have to remove all drivers and then install the drivers for this card. Are you using the latest drivers or did you install from a cd that came with the card? If it's the latter, it's probably outdated. Just a few guesses.

I'm stumped. Hopefully, something with more knowledge about this situation will chime in soon.

Hi
Did you install drivers for your video card? You can find the latest drivers for your GPU and OS here

Whoops! For some reason, I wrote something instead of someone. My apologies. I really think much more highly of you guys than that! :)

Did you select proper GPU model and OS version (including bitness) when searching for drivers?

Yep, that error usually happens when wrong selections during choosing were made in one, or more of the categories, usually it is the OS selection, and note that all 1050's run the same driver, there is no specific Ti model driver.
