May I have a favor to ask you some questions ?

Is it possible to create a custom Camera (not the camera from ipirecorder) in Ipi mocap studio ? How to change the FOV of the viewport temporarily in Ipi mocap studio ?

I do not find the option of orthographic views in Ipi Mocap studio. Is this feature available ?

iPi Motion Capture is focused on motion capture and only includes very basic editing tools needed to support mocap workflow.
Mentioned features are not available.

I think these are very very basic features in every 3D software. Expecally changing the FOV of current view and orthographic views are very very important while aligning T-pose for the characters with the point clouds. And the WFOV of Azure Kinect is too wide for people viewing.
Please consider about them.

You can change viewpoint (same as changing FOV) using mouse roll if you mean that.

I tried to roll the mouse wheel (even with pressing CTRL or ALT or SHIFT). But the distortion of the current view was always too big to view comfortably. It seemed that the value of FOV does not change at all. My purpose is to change the FOV to about 45 degree.

I maybe want to dolly camera.


Oh，is there any hotkeys or mouse control for dolly current camera ?

How do I achive that ?

I already answered that mentioned features are not available in iPi Studio.

yes,you can not change the fov ,if change the the fov ,all the clouds data will be broken and useless and can't track motion
