Man, you made my day! Thank you SO much. I too had the same problem - framerate not going over 25. Dumping pagefile solved the problem. Thank you for taking time creating the tutorial video.

I've tried everything listed here to no avail. I have two Kinect 2 cameras, one is on a lower-end PC and the other is on my big workstation (i7-5930 @ 3.5 GHz, GTX 1080, 32GB RAM). The one on the lower-end PC is fine, the one on the i7 can barely reach 25fps and will not record when synced to the other one due to low framerate.

I've tried:

Just about every USB port
Disabling the swap
Making sure everything is using the proper GPU

Still get the exact same fps. I've noticed that pulling out other USB items (like my wacom) seems to add a few frames but not nearly enough for proper use.

Any help would be appreciated. I do have a paid license to Studio.

Does Kinect Configuration Verifier tool report any problems on your PC?
Maybe there is a problem with Kinect camera itself. Have you tried swapping Kinects between PCs?
Have you tried libfreenect instead of Kinect SDK?
As a last resort you can try adding a PCIe USB 3.0 controller based on NEC/Renesas chip to your PC and connect Kinect to it.
