I was Syked.. I was ready to have some fun with motion capture tech.. just to say I'd done it..

and yes, maybe move some animations into SL just to see how they looked...

I checked the Requirements page VERY VERY carefully...

I saw nothing about special video card requirements...

I got my Aopen VC-635 webcam loaded...

Studio claimed it was installing...

And then it crashed....
and again
and again
and again.

4 hours later.. of reinstalling.... I discover, oh wait, must have shader 4.0 in your video card...

This morning.. I google my video card at AMD..

Shader 3..... on my X1650 .... DOH
at least now I know what made my old 2400PRO supposedly better.. before I gave it to someone else....

so much the shame, more software I cant use and a trial that I will never be able to experience.. because the requirements on the support page said nothing about what tech was needed in the video card..
