as you can see its a bit off after a mostly successful track..this after actor falls down.

Thanks for posting the illustration.
Probably the joint limits for hands are too limiting. We are working to improve that (it will take some time because of large amount of testing involved).
If joint limits are not the cause, you can try correcting several frames manually and then continue automatic tracking. It can help to fix the problem.
