My system is XP 64bit, everything was working great when I used the software about a month ago. Used it again last night, of course recorder and IPI Studio updated themselves, now everything is messed up!. Errors when recording, can't open video files in IPI Studio, says missing codecs. What happened, how can your updates mess so much up?. Wish the software did not update itself, now I have wasted hours trying to get it working again. Still it errors out......

you can rollback to the previous versions using Add/Remove Programs item of Control Panel: double click on the iPiRecorder and iPiStudio rows and choose appropriate option in the following dialog.

Back to your problems: could you please post text of error messages which occur during recording? The most likely cause of problems with video opening is the damage of video file. Thus the root of problems is in iPiRecorder. Thus it is important to know more details about error messages.
