I was offered the update to .115 today and have just done a quick Kinect capture which plays back just fine in Windows Media Player.

When I try to open it in DMC, it erros with a dialog that says "cannot open file <filename>. Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

I suspect that this is a spurious message, no other PC problems, restarted, removed and reinstalled both DMC an recorder with the primesense drivers.

Captures which have been made with PS3 cameras open fine but none of my Kinect captures, either this new one, older ones done using the Primesense drivers or the USBlib ones. This smells very much like a codec issue to me (or similar), it's clearly related to the Kinect implementation.

Oh if it helps, opening another gives me "Cannot open file <filename>. Texture width or height is larger than the device supports. Parameter name: height".

Fixed!

I figured it was a codec thing before I found the other similar thread. I'd recently upgraded from Nero 8 to Nero 10 and that removed some of the Nero 8 parts leaving me with a broken codec chain.
