If only one camera used no calibrate?

Which camera?

For a single Kinect, calibration is unnecessary. Currently, you cannot use two Kinects, but if you could, calibration probably would not be necessary.

For PS3 Eye, capturing with a single camera is not recommended, but if you use any number of PS3 Eye cameras then yes you need to calilbrate.
