I found PS3 Eyes for $35 on Amazon.com.... So 4 of them run about the same as a Kinect.

You can also find a lot of used one (noth Ps3 Eye and Kinect) if you live in or near an urban area, check out sites like craigslist. I paid less than half the store price that way.
