I am either going to buy 4 ps3 eye toys or one kinect, I would prefer the connect considering it would be one angle and require a lot less area / no usb extension cables.

Is there anyone who has had great success with the kinect?

I have both setups. Kinect is easier to use than PS3 cameras, But you only get a front view and turns about 40 to 50 degrees left and right and standing in mostly in place. I lost my workspace and live in a very tiny home. The Kenect is good for small spaces, but if you have a large workspace get the cameras. They require more time to get use to. Their is some skill in getting a good capture. The base of which is a good calibration.
