Hi,
When i try to open video file (any video - tried at least 4 vmw files) I get OutOfMemoryException. I have AMD 4,8 GHz, 2 GB - It is impossible that program can not load 2 MB file - unless it is written unprofessionally. And you are selling this?

Got the same problem as mentioned above tried several times with avi & wmv
Then somehow it bypasses and loads the video.
Then Goto align the figure to the imported video as described in the help contents with the zoom move controls, but it crashes on the button at the bottom of actor tab when i hit it to automate alignment.
Clocks around about 1/4 the way on the flash thingy and throws up its hands

Any helps?

I'm trying to evaluate this software features, but it's impossible to try something with these problems.

I have a GTX 260 with DX9 installed...

I am getting the exact same problem and I cannot help others interested in this technology if the software will not open any type of video file. I get the System.OutOfMemoryException when opening a WMV file. I also get Unspecified Errors when using the PROJECT FILES for iPiSoft.


This is happpening on a freshly installed and completely updated Windows XP SP3 system.

This problem is caused by video files encoded in such a way that accurate frame-by-frame navigation ("scrubbing") is not possible with DirectShow.

A fix for this problem is underway. Current version of iPi Studio cannot correctly report this problem. Future versions will be able to report the problem and do video conversion into more suitable format.

The easiest workaround is to convert your video file into uncompressed AVI. You can use VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/) to do the conversion.
