I had no problems when I used only one Kinect sensor, but when I tried to install a second one, I get: "USB error 131167 in function xnUSBSendControl. Failed to send a USB control request!". I have installed the Psensor_Ipi-x64.msi driver. Both sensors are alive (green light blinking); both sensors are registered when I open the Ipisoft recorder, but the screen is black. I re-installed the driver. No go. BTW, I am still using Ipisoft's Express version. I read that it can use 2 Kinect cameras, only it can't save the depth movie.

Can anybody help me? I bought a second Kinect camera with a USB extention and a camera mount, but I can't use it. I'd be willing to upgrade top the basic version of Ipisoft if only I could get my cameras to work together. Whjy do I get this message: "USB error 131167 in function xnUSBSendControl. Failed to send a USB control request!". I would really appreciate it if somebody would explain to me why I get this message.

Most likely it concerns USB controller issues. Make sure that nothing but the Kinect Sensor uses the same USB controller. Also please try to turn off RGB streaming:

If it doesn't help then can try to use different USB controller or even different PC. Not that iPi Recorder is free and you can use it without limitations.

Yeah. It worked. I mean, I had each camera on a different controller, but one controller had an USB splitter. That was the problem. When I removed the USB splitter, and plugged the Kinect camera directly in the computer, the Ipisoft recorder started to record with both cameras. Thanks.

Try to uninstall your current Kinect drivers and install the latest one from here:

I have the same problem, i have reinstalled drivers but nothing works. I have 3 usb contacs on my laptop and i have tried all possible ways to connect it, I even removed my mouse from one of the usb, but still i have a yellow mark on one of the cameras in my Device manager.
Any sugestions?

eidt:
I have now tested this on my main comp with dual ssis card and 8 diferent usb contacts. When I used the 2 ones in front I got same problem, but when I changed one to the back of the computer then it worked. Only problem now is that my main comp cant open the files due to being sli (I think, read it in another thread).
Is there going to be any uppdate for this open file issue? Really need to know before purchuse, cuz needing to coppying files back and forth is kinda bad.
