When I record with the 2 kinect cameras after 10secs or so it comes up with a buffer error and stops recording

Na the RGB is off, after closing down some memory intense programs it seems it doesn't appear anymore.

Its to do with RAM i think

i have the same problem with one my laptop. what is your memory amount? what programs did you closed?

Do this

go to Start > run or in windows7 type in search

services.msc

hit enter

then go and stop all the proccess you think are not needed at that time so like for example "mentalray (64bit)" "Apple Mobile Support" etc

then go into taskmanger and end all the proccesses you don't need, be careful not to end system ones and your graphic card and ipi recorder.
